As you can clearly see with so many TV commercials for fitness products, streaming motivational workout apps are really popular right now. When it comes to this kind of technology, iFit is  one of the original and best apps available especially when it is built-in to your treadmill. Proform Carbon T7

Proform products are manufactured by Icon Fitness (the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in the world) and is the company that created the original iFit technology many years ago. iFit technology has grown and improved greatly over the last few years and gives Proform a big advantage over other treadmill brands.

Since the iFit technology, or app if you prefer, is a very big part of the why you would choose Proform over other brands, I will discuss that a little further in my review below.

In general Proform treadmills are going to be a little more expensive than other brands with similar features and quality because of the Proform name and the built-in iFit technology. 

The Proform Carbon T7 is one of the most reasonably priced Proform treadmills with this technology built-in to the machine.

You still have the option to use any of the other motivational apps that are available online and to use other devices (your phone, tablet, TV, etc.) while you workout but with the Carbon T7 you always have the iFit options built-in to the machine if you prefer.

THe Proform Carbon series treadmills are currently some of their lowest priced models that are still a decent quality.

You can get comparable treadmills from other companies but unless the brand is from ICON fitness you will not get the iFit technology built-in to the machine.  

I have been a big fan of doing whatever is necessary for motivation and variety to help you to stick with a workout routine. There are quite a few ways to get and stay motivated but the current workout apps that are now available (including iFit) are excellent tools.

The motivational and entertainment value of the iFit technology is truly a key feature of this treadmill (as with most other Proform treadmills) and should not be overlooked. IFit has been around for many years now and has only been improving over the years.

Also, when iFit is built-in to your Treadmill, as it is with the Carbon T7 Incline Treadmill, the app can control your incline, decline and speed as well as your speed automatically for a more realistic and hands-free workout.

Of course, you can override this option if you choose and if you do not want to pay for the iFit option in the future, the machine works just fine with many built-in workouts too.

The only negative thing that I found with the Carbon T7 is the smaller screen than on Proform's more expensive models. But then, you will need to pay quite a bit more for the next model up with a larger screen.

Therefore, I have found the Proform Carbon T7 to be a good choice for those who are looking for a good quality treadmill with excellent motivational features built-in.
